It has been a busy day. Last night the rain poured and the ravine near us flooded. Some people lost everything to the flood waters. The electricity for our neighborhood was cut off when a high tension electricity pole collapsed into the ravine. A pastor who lives in a church near the bottom of the ravine was saved when he piled church benches to reach the top of the roof and pried the top of the tin to be pulled out. We went out to check up on families that we know living in the ravine. We went back to the house and cleaned out our depots as some people only escaped with the clothes on their back. Pray for the rain to stop. It is cloudy right now and we will probably get more rain again tonight. I took some pictures but don't have the time to post them. I just wanted to send out a note to say that people are now digging and bucketing out from having houses flooded.
