photos - jacksonville medical team - part 1

During the month of May we had 2 medical teams both coming from the Jacksonville, Florida area do clinics here at Coram Deo. These are teams that are organized by Sherri Faussy. Her mission is called Christian Light Missions. We help her sometimes in transporting people to the airport. The team had 18 members.

Kimosabee is a good beast of burden and carried most of the suitcases for the team.

It was a first-time experience for almost all the team members for being involved in medical clinics. The biggest job is setting up and organizing the pharmacy.

Pam, is the veteran in the bunch. She made a visit to Haiti once already and she organized the medical team. Here she is taking the blood pressure of a woman who came in sick to the clinic. At the intake table blood pressures are checked for everyone. There is a lot of untreated blood pressure here.

A lot of time in the pharmacy is breaking down bottles of medicines into dosed packages.
