On the left is the Delmas 2000 parking lot. We always do our grocery shopping there. Security at the grocery store closed the gates so that the crowd wouldn't be able to enter onto the parking lot.
By the Delmas 29/Delmas intersection, the police vehicle had to cross to the opposite side of the road to avoid obstructions.
Dumpsters had been upended by angry people blocking the road.
Policemen started to walk on foot in front of the vehicle moving aside rubble so that they could continue their descent down Delmas.
Tires were dumped into the back of the police vehicle.
