The large crowd approached the corner of Delmas and Delmas 18 and turned to the left onto Delmas 18. Notice the Scotiabank sign. Scotiabank is here in Haiti too! The building on the left used to be the old Canadian Embassy.
The Delmas 18 road is narrower and the crowd crammed through chanting and singing anti-Preval and Jude Celestin slogans and also proudly showing their Michel Martelly poster.
Near one building fliers of Michel Martelly rained down on the crowd. Everybody eagerly scooped them up.
You can see Michel Martelly posters hanging from string above the crowd. This was an area of Delmas 18 that was a hotspot of Michel Martelly supporters. It was the people in these buildings that sent the fliers down to the crowd.
These are some of the people who watched the crowd walking through the streets.
