photos - road travel - part 6

On our way back from Camp Hope we noticed a fire burning on a piece of land off the road in the Ganthier region. We went closer and noticed it was a piece of road equipment that was burning. It was a grader.

I don't know who started the fire but it is a shame to see an expensive piece of government road works equipment in flames especially since the government doesn't have a lot of heavy equipment! We saw nobody around the fire and we don't know how it got started.

The Bonnette bridge is being rebuilt. We took a small "Deviation (detour) around the work site.

One container truck didn't handle the deviation very well and part of the container dropped into the opening.

Workers are cementing the front area of the bridge. The new bridge and canal is a lot better than the old one!
