Late one afternoon we went to one of the refuge camps in our area with the medical team.
There were several injured children in this area. There was a visiting EMT from the United States who set up a clinic in the yard of the Morningstar school. This baby was burned the day of the earthquake. The grandmother is holding her.
A young girl had a splint on her broken leg.
Every day we made hospital runs for those who needed more intensive care, surgeries or broken bones set. Jeff and Jeff (from Florida, standing in the back of the pick-up truck) made several trips.
The wound care area was a busy place. Tanya, Marlene and Teresa were working in this area helping to bandage the wounded.
