COMPOSITION OF THE MINISTERIAL CABINET OF THE MARTELLY-CONILLE GOVERNMENT

... The composition of the ministerial cabinet of the Martelly-Conille government, is composed of 17 ministries. The Prime Minister confirmed the rumors that circulated this week, namely that he keeps for himself the Ministry of Planning and External Cooperation. Dr. Garry Conille will therefore add the position of Prime Minister to that of Minister.

Of the 18 ministers, 15 are men and 3 are women (16.7%). The women ministers are:

Yanick Mézil (Minister for the Status of Women and Women's Rights),

Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin (Minister of Tourism),

Florence Duperval Guillaume (close to the First Lady) Minister of Public Health and Population.

According to our sources the composition of the ministerial cabinet of the Martelly-Conille submitted to the parliamentarians, includes the following personalities :

Minister of Social Affairs and Labour - François Richel Lafaille (choice of G16)

Ministry of Foreign Affairs - Laurent Lamothe and Religious Affairs (team of Martelly)

Minister of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Rural Development - Agr. Hébert Docteur

Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister for Relations with Parliament - Ralph Ricardo Théano - (team of Martelly)

Minister of Trade and Industry - Pr. Wilson Laleau (team of Martelly)

Minister for the Status of Women and Women's Rights - Yanick Mézil

Minister of Culture and Communications - M. Choiseul Henriquez (choice of INITE)

Minister of National Education and Vocational Training - Réginald Paul
