REACTIONS OF THE PRIME MINISTER ON THE FAVORABLE VOTE OF THE SENATE

After a marathon session of about ten hours, Thursday and Friday, the Prime Minister Garry Conille and his team welcome the vote of the Senate of the Republic to their general policy statement. The parliamentarians have demonstrated a great dialectic and the exchange has shown the different aspirations of the people.

Dr. Garry Conille said that he was aware of the challenges and of the conjunctural and structural emergency which caused doubts among some senators at the meeting. But surrounded by a competent and dynamic team, the Prime Minister is certain to be able to dispel that doubt and improve the lives of the citizens within a framework of permanent dialogue and coordinated actions with all vital sectors of national and international life.

Once again, the Prime Minister Garry Conille and his team renewed their commitment to serve their country with honor and dignity for the emancipation of a genuine Rule of Law, where social justice and equality of opportunities take hold....

Mr. Conille and his cabinet are preparing to ascend the rostrum of the lower house this Friday, October 14, 2011 for the exercise of the general policy statement and awaits, as in the Senate, receiving relevant questions in the interests of various constituencies.

Enthusiastic and confident, the Prime Minister and his team rely on the trust and the good understanding of the honorable deputies to move quickly from words to action because they agree with them ... "Pèp la pa ka tann ankò". (The people can not wait longer)
