Mykerson Pierre is a 5-year-old boy who has cerebral palsy. We brought him over to the physiotherapy clinic behind Nos Petits Freres et Soeurs Children's Hospital. Once he gets a doctor's letter he will be accepted into the program. This program is a real blessing because the family doesn't have to pay for each physiotherapy session they attend.

Rebecca Beaubrun is a 16-month-old girl who came to Coram Deo this week with her mother.

She was born with clubbed feet. We put her on our medical search list. Pray we can find a doctor to help her. Her left foot is worse than her right.

Dominique Joseph is a 3-year-old boy who has some sort of shoulder problem. He doesn't have good mobility in his arm/shoulder. We are going to take him to Healing Hands to get a doctor to examine him.

The defense on the back of Kimosabee, the pick-up truck is drooping after being involved in his 13th accident. Somebody rear-ended us while we were stopped. It is a good thing that the defense bar is strong!

Jonel Colo is a cute little boy. He tries to focus his eyes but the pressure on his brain causes them to "sundown".

I gave his mother some antibiotic cream to put on his head sores. His prognosis doesn't look good. He will be at the hydrocephalus evaluations on March 27th when the team from Miami arrives. Keep his mother in prayer. She has a difficult task in looking after him but she loves him.

I went to Bernard Mevs Hospital on Friday and picked up Rose Taina, her mother and Rose's 15 year old sister. Sister Genevieve had asked me to help find a place that would take in Rose. Both Rose and her mother are positive for HIV. The mother is in the HIV treatment program at Bernard Mevs Hospital.

Rose is now staying at Dorothy's mission, Faith, Hope, Love Infant Rescue. She is 21 months old and only weighs 10 pounds. She is currently being tube fed because she doesn't want to eat or drink. Keep Rose in prayer that she could get stronger and be able to get onto the HIV treatment program at Nos Petitis Freres et Soeurs Children Hospital.

The last visitors here left a kite for the children and they were eager to try it out. Kite flying is a favorite past time for young boys here in Haiti. The children used the roof to launch the kite.

This baby lives in a village in the mountains of Kenscoff. He is only 4 days old and developed a bad eye infection after being born at home. We took him to the childrens' hospital on Tabarre and they treated the infection. Sometimes newborns in Haiti become blind after untreated eye infections.

Lenel Laguerre is the newest addition to the school program here at Coram Deo. He lives in the ravine area on the other side of Delmas 31. He is 11-years-old and has never had the opportunity to go to school.

Friedline Moise had heart surgery in the United States a few years ago. She visited the house with her mother this week. She is in good health!

Calens is the youngest boy in the school program here at Coram Deo. He is almost blind. He enjoyed the extra attention that he got from the visitors.

This hydrocephalus baby was found abandoned in Cite Soleil on Saturday morning by Mimi, of the Lamp Foundation. He was brought to Dr. Joey's hospital in the Delmas 33 region. When I put my finger in front of his hand he grabbed it and held on tight. His neurological signs are good and he should be a good candidate for surgery sometime in April or May. Pray a home can be found for him.

Chrisno Jeudi is with his host mother getting physical therapy. He has grown a lot and while in Virginia he was able to get a lot of physical therapy. Here they are working on standing. Pray that one day he will be able to walk. He is a determined boy.

In this baby walker he gets to use his legs and develop leg strength with the goal of one day being able to stand and to walk. He travels back home to Haiti on Sunday. We give the Lord thanks for the surgery that he received.

Phara Simeon came with her mother. She is one of the babies who had surgery in November. She hasn't been eating well and had a fever. Her nourishment is not good as well. Pray the medicine helps. With a shunt in place, infections need to be monitored.

Jimmy Jean and his mother came with a gift basket. When the mother said she had a surprise I thought for sure it was another abandoned baby. She came with several bunches of tasty bananas! They are both thankful for the surgery he received.

This father came with his one year old daughter. The mother died and he can not look after his daughter. He came asking for help to find an orphanage and would like to see his daughter adopted. I will talk with a couple of orphanages who deal in adoptions next week and see if any can help out the father.

Samson has been living with his aunt in the same village that Paulna is from. The mother is crazy and can't look after him. Linda of Holy Angels is going to look after him for a few months so that he can receive better care.

Maxon Marcelin is a young hydrocephalus baby who was on our search list. All his passport paperwork was completed but a hospital couldn't be found for him. He is now with the Lord.

Marcson Marcelin is a 2-month-old baby with a beginning hydrocephalus. Pray we can find a way to help him before his head starts getting larger.

Angelo Lafortune recently came back from the United States after a follow-up visit with his neurosurgeon. His tumor isn't growing back and he didn't require another surgery for the hematoma he suffered after a fall here in Haiti. He's a cute kid!
