photos - repairs - part 6

"Mohawk Benson" became the new supervisor of the wall painting!

Erol supervised the painting of the rebar on all the windows. The house is almost done now.

It takes more time to paint each individual bar.

All the pictures of Johnny are showing him with his back to the camera. Here is a front view of him painting the bars.

Manu got a little bored and trimmed the cat's whiskers. At least the size of the whiskers all look the same. Good thing he didn't decide to give the cat a mohawk hair style!

photos - repairs - part 6

Mike and the guys hauled the debris from our back wall out to the rubble pile on the street.

Instead of building another boundary wall we decided to use our neighbors house wall as our boundary wall. We also sealed up the corridor to block access. We told the squatters that if they wanted us to build another boundary wall they would have to share the costs.

The other end of the wall has a corridor and we blocked that off too.

The house wall of our neigbor is only supported by one support column now in the middle. We built a few support columns on our side of the wall to protect against the wall falling on us in another earthquake.

Once the supports were built into the wall the guys started parging it.
