The area in front of the CEP building where the elections bureau is located was blocked off by the police and UN in preparation for the Lavalas demonstration that was held on Wednesday.
There was a lot of security in place by the entrance to the CEP compound. The CIMO police were there.
The UN was there as well.

Around 2:00pm the marchers headed up Delmas towards the CEP building.
