photos - corrail - part 4

Here is a back view of the homes. There are windows along the sides.

It will be great when everything is done. A regular street!

It is good to see Canadian tax dollars being put to good use!

One day these tents will hopefully be gone and replaced with homes!

Leaving the camp we saw along the roadside a large sign from Dinepa, the state water company. Translated into english is the expression "Your life is in your hands. Wash your hands". Cholera is still a constant threat for everyone here in Haiti.

We visited the tent where Sarafina Fils, a hydrocephalus girl lives. Her mother looks after her well.
It was a little breezy when we were in the camp.

These water bladders are the water source for the camp. Mission organizations refill the water bladders when they run out.

Children always seem to make the best out of difficult living conditions. These children are taking turns riding a bicycle.

There are approximately 10,000 people living in Corrail. A lot of tents!
