photos - cite soleil clinic - part 6

There has been a baby boom here in Haiti after the earthquake. They say the birthrate has tripled!

A local journalist came to check out the clinic as well.

I took a picture of my father and this man stood up and wanted his picture taken with him too!

With good medical care and an education a child can grow up with a better future. Pray for all those working here in Haiti to help the Haitian people.

Jacques, from Action Chretienne Pour Le Developpement was wearing a blue t-shirt which has "Haiti can perish if we continue to vote the same way". Pray also for the elections. Right now reconstruction is not able to be done because of the uncertain political environment. Pray that Haiti can get past the political problems and continue on the road to reconstruction. The country needs stability.

This boy is preparing the "crab pots".

He is working with his father who is repairing some of them. He is working amongst the garbage that is along the shore.

This boy made a toy out of a wheel that he found.

The children of Cite Soleil live a difficult life.

But they can still smile and have hope for a better future.
