This was the second clinic for Cite Soleil for some members of this team.

People hear about the bad things that happen sometimes here in Haiti but the people are appreciative to those who come and help out.

One tough haitian guy in Cite Soleil stopped traffic on Rte Nationale so we could make a left turn and said "our health" and held his hand in his fist in the air as we passed. Even the tough guys in Cite Soleil enjoy seeing help coming to the Haitian people and they will protect those who are there to help.

The medical providers faced a constant stream of patients throughout the day.

They worked hard and treated around 250 people that day.

Bertrand gave a helping hand in registration.

People waited their turn on the church pews.

This woman brought 2 of her children to the clinic.

Skin infections are a common infection treated. This girl has a skin infection on her forehead.

Johnny helped out keeping an eye out at the door.

Amos helped out at the door as well.

Bertrand helped to keep an eye out at the back door of the church and he also helped out escorting the elderly.

The pharmacy was set up at the front of the church.

This woman was looking at the medications she received for her children. The people of Cite Soleil are thankful that foreigners come in to provide medical care.

Johnny and Amos helped out at the registration table.

There were 4 medical provider stations where consultations were done.

Several members of this team were also in Cite Soleil last year too with Dr. Ed!

The medical team came with a portable pharmacy!

The pharmacy table was at the back corner of the church.

The other back corner was the consultation area.

This is a view of the main road in Cite Soleil that runs past the church. The top of this street is Rte. Nationale #1.

A lot of people also make a living running a small boutique.

This is a view of the street which leads down to the wharf. Garbage always clogs up the canals.
