We took turns pounding the "pitimi". This grain is a large part of the diet for those living in the countryside.

Bill came with some treats of Skittles for the children. Paulna handed them out.

The children enjoyed their treats!

We walked up the path to visit Doudeleimy and Williamise's house and met these young boys. By the time our visit was done there were lots of young children with skittles packages in their hands!

In the village it is the boys who take the cows out to pasture.

There are always a group of children who accompany us on our walks through the village.

There is a great view of the mountains!

Paulna picked out the return path to the truck. It involved crossing some mud. Benson was not very enthusiastic.

Paulna had fun watching him. Benson looked back at me with a look of "what are you doing"? We adults chose another route.
