Waving Flag! - Soccer Champions!
Summer vacation is time! Now that summer is winding down the guys participated in a soccer tournament in the Silo refuge camp on Delmas 33. Ysmaille was president of the team and Fedner was coach. The team came away as champions! The video above shows the love of soccer all over the world :) Below are some photos of the action:

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Merry Christmas to everyone! Here are a few videos of the Christmas program that Christian Light Mission put on. It was a great program! The first video is of one of my favorite songs Feliz Navidad. EASTER SERVICE - PASTOR OCTAVE
Today was a special Easter service at Pastor Octave's church, which is located across the street from us. Several choirs sang today. The service lasted for 3 1/2 hours and at the end of the service a meal was served for everyone who attended. Different pastors participated in the service. This short video is part of a song translated into english which means: "Do you want to go, to my Father's house?". It was great to see the joy inside this church. I have seen in other churches the cliques that are formed in congregations. If you are part of their inside circle you get invited to activities and if you aren't you get ignored. It is good to see a poor haitian church welcoming everyone without distinction. This is how a church should be. Pray for the missionary community here in Haiti. Haiti is known as the republic of NGO's. It is also the republic of missionaries, and I have seen first-hand when people decide to exclude someone and that it hurts. I wish that all the reformed missionaries could have been in church today. Pray for unity in the reformed churches here in Haiti, amongst the congregations, and amongst the missionaries. Where there is shunning, let there be fellowship instead. That is my prayer for today and every day until it is a reality. I will post it on my blog when it happens :)

MORE THAN 121,000 HAITIANS LED TO CHRIST THROUGH BILLY GRAHAM EVANGELISIC ASSOCIATION 'MY HOPE' PROJECT

Christian Message Spread Through Haiti Through Any Means Possible
CHARLOTTE – Over the course of three days in July, Christians across Haiti opened their homes for meetings and witnessed a combined total of more than 121,000 participants make commitments to Jesus Christ. The gatherings were a part of My Hope, a ministry of the Charlotte, N.C.-based Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA). The project, the largest evangelism of its kind in Haiti, comes after significant ministry outreach by BGEA and Samaritan’s Purse following the 2010 earthquake that devastated the country.
Organizers originally met with leaders in Haiti in 2009, but planning for the My Hope project was postponed when the country was rocked by a magnitude 7 earthquake in January 2010. After a period of recovery, meetings and trainings for church leaders and volunteers took place over several months. Overall, more than 5,000 churches participated in the project.
“These faithful Christians took a bold step in inviting their friends and neighbors to their homes, and God truly worked through their efforts and prayers,” said Bill Conard, vice president of international ministries for BGEA. “Projects like this show that evangelism is not only for pastors, but for anyone who longs for those around them to experience the hope and love found only in Jesus Christ.”
The programs culminated with more than 57,000 home events including messages from famous Christian Haitians, and sermons from Billy Graham the first night and Franklin Graham the following two nights. Broadcasts were transmitted simultaneously by major television and radio stations throughout the country. In rural areas and remote regions of the country – where broadcast signals get blocked by massive mountains – 50 projector teams continued to show the program after the initial national broadcast.
“Collecting results from all churches often takes weeks, and we just recently received the final numbers from Haiti,” said Conard. “During that time follow-up efforts were made to help new believers become involved in a local church body and thereby grow in their faith.
“We’ve been so encouraged by the stories we’ve heard,” he continued. “Many of those who viewed the My Hope broadcast had been practicing voodoo for many years. One man – a voodoo priest – not only made a decision to renounce his old life and become a Christian, but eight members of his family also accepted Christ.”
Since My Hope began in 2002, such projects have been implemented in more than 50 countries. Upcoming projects this year will take place in Zambia, Spain and Portugal. Preparations are beginning for potential My Hope outreaches in 2012.
