ONLY THE PRIME MINISTER WENT TO THE CONVOCATION
(Haiti Libre) -
Yesterday Thursday, February 16, 2012, the Ministers accompanied by their Secretary of State had to answer to a convocation of the Senate Commission responsible for verifying the nationality of members in the Government. Only the Prime Minister, Dr. Garry Conille has responded and filed the required documents. Michel Chancy, the Secretary of State for Animal Production went to the convocation without the required travel documents; stating, "I only came to to answer to the convocation and not to submit my documents. This must be done administratively through my ministry." Other members ... did not come.
Sen. Joseph Lambert declared "...This morning there was a convocation with times clearly marked for each Government Minister, and the Prime Minister himself. We received this morning a Secretary of State [Michel Chancy], who chose not to submit to the Commission his documents, and the Prime Minister, who who filed all the documents to which we were interested at the Commission level. Subsequently, we received at 1:40pm if I'm not mistaken, the Minister responsible for relations with Parliament [Ralph Théano] who has forwarded a letter that came from the Government, .... which I read for you :"
