People are anxious and wondering why it takes so much time for the rebuilding process. It is not only homes that have to be rebuilt. This photo represents part of the damage that deforestation has done in Haiti. The rebuilding is going to be a long-term process that is going to require change. The NGO's and international countries can't bring that change. Only the Haitian people can do this change. They need to change how they build, and protect their environment. Pray for this process of change.
This photo shows the work that is needed to rebuild homes. Rebuilding homes is the easy part. Rebuilding the country is where the big challenge will be. Will the Haitian people work together in this rebuilding process. Pray for the new government and that they will be able to lead the rebuilding efforts in Haiti.
