Now, the hydrocephalus mothers will be able to have a place to go for a cat scan. Pray that one day there will be a hydrocephalus institute here in Haiti.
Other new technology at the hospital is this robot. This robot is "Doctor Jr."
The robot accompanies the doctor on rounds and can do exams. A doctor sitting behind a console in the United States can examine a patient with the assistance of this robot. This robot sure does remind me of the movie "Short Circuit"!
This robot can move by itself. I have some video that I took of it moving. It was fun to watch the expressions of people as they watched the robot move!
