Children were discharged after 4-5 days and were told to contact hospital staff if there were any problems. Pray for the next neurosurgery team's preparations. Hopefully in May there will be another round of hydrocephalus surgeries.
Dr. Karen McCarthy and her team from the Jacksonville, Florida area held a week of clinics in February. They held 6 clinics, 3 days at Coram Deo, 2 days in Gonaives and 1 day at Pastor Marcelin's church in the Torcel area of Tabarre. They saw and treated around 1,500 people!
The registration table was kept busy preparing the consult papers for the doctors.
Dr. Ruben came back for his 2nd trip to Haiti with the team.
Dr. Karen has organized several teams and their next trip will be sometime in May. Pray for their preparations for their next visit.
