Juniya Lyra was only 1 week old in this picture. She was born with a large head and was delivered caesarean section. Her father came to Coram Deo looking for help.
This is Juniya one week later, the day after surgery. It is amazing how things fall into place. We give the Lord thanks that the team from Miami Childrens' Hospital led by Dr. John Ragheb could again perform 18 hydrocephalus surgeries in May 2008.
Here are proud parents of this young hydrocephalus baby.
We bring food to the hospital for both the child and parent while they are there. In Haiti the hospital provides no meals. We supply a meal in the morning and another in the evening.
