ARTICLE - PETIT-GOAVE - HEALTH CENTER

INAUGURATION OF A CENTER OF ACTION FOR HEALTH IN PETIT-GOAVE
(Haiti Libre) -

A group of young Haitian doctors trained in Cuba have proceeded this Sunday, March 18, 2012, in Petit-Goâve to the inauguration of a health center called "Centre d'action pour la santé" (Center of action for health) led by Dr. Fred Jasmin, Director General, Dr. Benson Rinchere, Deputy Director General, Dr. Junior Jhonskee W. Tintin, Administrator and Ms. Bellard Constant, nurse, secretary.

The Mission of the "Centre d'action pour la santé" is to provide "free" health care for people with high blood pressure, and ensure the health of the population. Physicians will receive no payment from patients and will provide free consultations in sign of their gratitude. About 150 prisoners have already benefited from the services of this Centre.
