photos - physiotherapy clinic - part 4

Balance and walking exercises were done.
She was given this puzzle to practice fine motor skills with her hand. The exercise of manipulating a piece of this puzzle and putting it back take a lot of concentration and effort, but it is hoped that the stimulation to the brain with these movements will help her recover. She was happy with the care that she received.
A young woman came in for wound care. A couple of days prior to coming to our house she had stubbed her toe on sharp metal an basically amputated a portion of her toe. She had gone to the hospital to get the wound sewn but didn't have money to go for a follow-up visit. We changed the dressing for her.
This man is being shown exercise by one of the physiotherapy students.
Marie our cook went to them for pain that she has in her leg. 12 years ago her femur was broken in 3 places after being hit by a tap-tap. It healed but she still has some pain sometimes. She also has scoliosis which might explain some of the pain. The team told her that there was not much that could be done to change her situation.
