VERIFICATION OF THE NATIONALITY OF 39 MEMBERS OF THE GOVERNMENT

According to Senator Steven Benoît, the Special Commission responsible for investigating the nationality of members of government, including that of Head of State, created at the end of October 2010 and composed of nine senators [Joseph Lambert, Yvon Buissereth, Steven Benoît, Youri Latortue, Dieuseul Simon Deras, Evallière Beauplan, John Joël Joseph, Nenel Cassy and Moïse Jean-Charles] will extend its investigation on Monday of 39 members of the government...

Senator Benoit, indicated that the office of the Senate had already written to the heads of institutions concerned, to inform them of the arrival of members of the various sub-committees to verify the documents of the members of the Government targeted by the Commission.

In addition, Steven Benoît stressed that the documents of evidence promised by the Senator Moïse Jean Charles, alleging that President Martelly has triple nationality has not yet been submitted to the Commission, but that this should be done next Monday.
